...about the band

Project 25 was originally conceived as a side project in the summer of 2004

by Steven Rowlands and Mark Pitts whilst playing in the band Sole Addiction.

The aim of the project was to create music that side tracked the mainstream

and create something musically challenging, diverse and hopefully original.

The drums were the primary source of inspiration to the music, which was

reflected within the prominent percussive feel coupled with the distinctive vocal

melodies and unusual guitar patterns.

The band achieves this unique approach from varying styles creating a

hybrid fusion of blues, funk rock and Spanish undertones to develop

our distinctive sound.
